Engravings on the nativity

On the occasion of the Christmas festivities, the Vatican Library is pleased to present a small sample of the graphic materials in its
collections, with a Christmas theme. This is a group of engravings from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries, kept in the Library's Cabinet of Engravings.
With these precious works of art which invite us to contemplate the Mystery of Christmas, we send our best wishes for a peaceful and joyful Christmas to all.
