Special cards/coupons in denominations of 25 or 50 copies (respectively € 7 and € 13), available in the Bursar's Office (Economato), allow readers to order next-day (24-hour) photocopies of printed volumes published between 1850 and 10 years before the current date kept in one of the Reading Rooms (including the Periodicals Reading Room) or in the stacks.

The cards are valid for one year from the date of issue and are not refundable. Each user may order a total of up to 150 fast-track photocopies during each academic year.

Readers who with to use this service must give the completely filled-out card to a member of the Reading Room staff, together with the book (in the case of a book from the stacks, the reader must have already received it for consultation) and the duly filled-out photocopy request form, which is available at the distribution desks in the Printed Books and Periodicals Reading Rooms.

Requests received by 12:00 noon will normally be filled by 5:00 pm of the same day; those received after 12:00 noon will be filled by late morning of the following day.
The service is conditional on the state of preservation of the materials.
